School of Continuing Education

At the Feuerstein Institute, we believe that cognitve and social development should not cease simply because a young adult with special needs has turned 21. We offer a number of programs geared toward further social intergration through volunteer oppertunities, job training and placement and preparation for family life.

The Partnership and Marriage Preparation program prepares and trains young adults with special needs for forming intimate relationships. When the couples become serious, we provide training and guidance in all matters related for starting a family; from running a home, managing finances and intimate relations.
The Ella People to People (P2P) Program is an intensive course which prepares young adults with special needs for careers in elder-care and as kindergarten aides.
At the Feuerstein Residential Center for Educational Rehabilitation, young adults with special needs are encouraged and taught how to live independently.
